And I agree the Grand Canyon won't be here forever, but I respectfully disagree that might take a "few million years time." The Canyon was formed just 4500 years ago following the global catastrophe known as Noah's flood. What can formed so relatively few years ago can also disappear in a few thousand years rather athan millions. For some other great facts about the Canyon, check out the True North Series books, "Your Guide to the Grand Canyon." Written by a couple of geologists, a meteorologist and a tour guide.
